"Wir hatten sehr viel Gutes gehört und sind mit hohen Erwartungen hingegangen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Es hat allerdings am Anfang als wir in der Tür standen etwas gedauert bis sich überhaupt jemand für uns zuständig fühlte. Das Interieur ist sehr bieder, die Atmosphäre entspricht eher einem Speisesaal, wozu auch die helle Deckenbeleuchtung beiträgt. Das Essen war überwiegend in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Leider nichts besonderes. Das stille Wasser war lauwarm. Den Gruß aus der Küche gibt es nur für Menüesser. Das Tempura Gemüse war entweder misslungen oder eine eigene Kreation. Das Filetsteak lag etwas lieblos auf dem nackten Teller. Risotto ist immer heikel, weil es eben kein Reisbrei werden darf. Die gebacken Kirschen waren klasse. Schade. Unsere Erwartungen wurden leider nicht erfüllt."

The Hotel Restaurant Seeblick Norddorf Amrum has been hosting an annual Schleswig Holstein Gourmet Festival for a long time. Star guest chef and designer of menu 2015 – 29th Mr. Thomas Merkle from the restaurant of the same name in Endingen was the Kaiserstuhl. Mir haben paar typische Nordseegerichte auf der Karte gefehlt und Mitarbeiter zu rechtweisen am Tisch des Gastes ist schwach vom Chef.Die Aussicht ist klasse und rund um ein Muss wenn man in Norddorf mehrere Tage zu Besuch ist, wenn auch nur auf ein TNT."
