"Necessary premise: of the sauternes and its surroundings, which I visited several times, I am a passionate estimator not so much for the landscape (although some vineyards are of remarkable beauty) as for the moldy wines that are produced there, against which I cultivate a visceral passion, and for the castles where those nectars are processed. the visit to the Auberge des vignes was. a side effect of this interest. arrived in the area at lunch, we asked the maison du sauternes place to visit absolutely if you love these wines where to go to lunch and this place was recommended. experience has been, for me, a small double face: for those who do not strave (eufemism) for meat, this is not a suitable place: on the fireplace they rub on the grill huge pieces of beef coast and the alternatives (which I saw forced) are cured or legumes of lamb, with a minimum shelter in a cheese sauce, but only discreet. judging by the filling, the dishes are up to expectations and the wine (the table that I do not drink and do not like. no one is perfect) too. I struggled to ingurgitate what was served to me, but I can't say that the goto was unpleasant. But I would like to describe my personal experience, I would not have gone beyond the average, but considering the most affordable prices of formulas (but there are cuts of beef of various origins at high costs) and especially the invaluable atmosphere from authentic popular tavernas as in Italy it is increasingly difficult to find and try, a very good judgment seems appropriate to me."

"Yesterday evening in the setting of Tous at the pleasant evening restaurant around a delicious meal composed by chef Romain Pons and his team. The exquisite freshness of the perfect egg, Chinese cabbage and coconut vinaigrette, splendid. The Rossini tuna pavement; a safe value and a great classic always excellent adapted to the marine flavors of tuna and superbly cooked. A selection of cheese in no way disturbing. And to finish a Paris Brest house with absolute lightness and wonderfully tasty, without superfluous sugar. Whisky Nikka at the aperitif and a chateau of Budos Graves rouge 2011 to accompany the meal. In a very beautiful restaurant room with stone walls and decorated with good taste. Once again a very good evening. Next time an AAAAA grilled at the fireplace. Thank you."

"We only went to dinner in this beautiful setting in front of the vineyards: foie gras, tricandilles, magret ... Everything was perfect, including the very attentive service, and the warm chef. "Very bad experience. It's 9:00 p.m. The room manager who welcomes us by stating that the kitchen will close soon! We have to hear you are welcome but just....for so far we had booked for 21.15... barely 10 minutes later we are quickly sent the entrance and the aperitif ... we quickly understand that we have to finish fast. 30 minutes after arriving the music goes out, half the lights also, the staff passes the broom in the room ... we understand who to hurry.... Let's talk about the menu, almost nothing on the map.... The overcooked lamb looks like chewing gum and very medium dessert ... in short... barely an hour later we left with 280 euros less and a very unpleasant moment ...."
