"We sat outside on the relatively cramped terrace, and had nice food. However, for us, the meal was ruined by a large number of aggressive wasps, which attacked both us and all of the food. Unfortunately our experience was coloured by this not the restaurant's fault, but pretty grim nevertheless."

"Booked a table for 5 adults and 4 children at 7pm on a Thursday night. Just as well as some unlucky clients got turned away. Traditional fare and atmosphere in an historic setting for D DAY buffs. Opposite the church and a small green that...provide limited on street parking the eatery is a must find, if in the area. Limited menu but delicious flavours. Kids even managed with the junior offerings. For adults, moules, duck, lamb , omelette and spicy burgers. Local deux cider at 2% is a drivers delight. Desserts are all home made and works of art and tastes. Early evening flies were a little annoying but soon left, unlike us who stayed without being rushed. Throughly recommended."

"There's a star missing because I put six. We bought a beautiful leather suitcase from the British Army in 1945. The person was listened to our questions and his answers were prayerful and very informative. I highly recommend this place by the quality of the products offered, the prices practiced but also by the availability of people in the store. Thanks to them. 6 stars no less"

"Cedric und ich haben drei unvergessliche Tage im le grand hard während unserer Flitterwochen erlebt. Wir sind sowohl vom Chef und seiner Frau ,als auch von den Mitarbeitern sehr freundlich empfangen worden, sowohl im Hotel als auch im Restaurant. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, vor allem das “menu du chef“. Am ersten Abend hat man uns im Zuge unserer Flitterwochen sogar Rosen abends auf den Tisch gelegt und ein Glas Champagner spendiert. Diese Lokalität kann ich von ganzem Herzen empfehlen, was nicht oft vorkommt."

"Welch Überraschung, hier doch selten, um so erfreulicher: erst mal die harten Daten, damit man weiß, ob man weiterliest: es gibt 1 Menü, 79€, die Flasche Moet kostet 65, wenn man noch ne Flasche Weiss und Rot packt, landet man zu zweit bei 290 €: und aß und ist glücklich. Sehr spezielle und witzige Location: altes, fast schon intimes Häuschen, die Landlady ist famos und aufmerksam, das Publikum (bei uns) war lässig, und nun die Stars: überbackene Austern( gibt's auch'roh' natürlich), wirklich sagenhafte Muscheln mit Creme fraiche, mit Calvados flambierter Hummer, Lammkeule geschmort mit weissen Bohnen, Brie und anderer lokaler Käse, Apfeltorte: wie der wohl namengebende Patron sagte, meine Gäste essen, was ich gerne mag: er hat nen guten Geschmack und Stil. Es lebe die Normandie."
