"My daughter was visiting us in Wareham with our grandson. She said she would treat us to a fish and chip lunch so decided to visit the Chipperies on South Street. When she returned with our order we were very disappointed. For the price customers pay, one might have expected a larger fish when a large fish is ordered. The portion of large chips was also somewhat lacking in size. Unfortunately, this was not a one-off unique experience. Since the takeaway was refurbished we have visited a couple of times been disappointed on each occasion. Prior to the second visit we did have our doubts but decided to give the Chipperies another chance. Sadly, we were mistaken. I'm sorry to have to write such a negative review. In the past we have always been satisfied with the pricing, quality of the food portioning. Since the refurbishment this seems to have changed. I'm sorry that this business appears to have let its standards drop. I'm willing to visit try again in the future but it wont be for quite a while."
