"I have been going to Halal carts in NYC for years. So to learn there was a Halal place so close to my home was exciting. And this place does not disappoint! Fantastic food! I want to eat there on a daily basis. I have now been there 4 times and each platter was phenomenal. I really, really, LOVE their food. And they will make it EXTRA spicy for me, which is what I desire."

"There were quite a few issues with our order. I ordered a coffee as the restaurant was extremely cold and diners were wearing jackets and coats. My first coffee was cold. I asked for another one and it took over 10 mins to get. By that time, food was already at the table. Our waiter didn’t check on us and therefore we waited over 20 mins to get our bill and pay. Not what I would expect when it wasn’t that busy."

"Im almost positive this is a ghost kitchen within California Tortilla which uses the same ingredients as that restaurant in order to make halal. And just like you would expect from that description, everything about the food just tastes off. It tastes like you ordered a chicken platter from Qdoba or Moes. Thats not to say the food is bad , per se who doesnt love Qdoba, right? its just to say the food is very far removed from what one would typically expect halal to taste like. So if that doesnt sound appealing to you, do yourself a favor and just stick to Shahs or somewhere similar."

"Not the best. The man taking the order sounded like he didn’t want to be there, we ordered a loaded potato and he gave us a plain. Then the women said they couldn’t accommodate for their own mistake. Which is not true because their main priority SHOULD be customer service. Not acceptable."
