"This is a real gem of a place. Small little hole in the wall restaurant in downtown Southington. It has beautiful authentic ambience and very inviting as you walk in. My wife and I had the privilege of trying this place yesterday for the first time at the recommendation of our friends. Friendly staff. Excellent authentic desi (Indian Pakistani food) Best samosa's in Connecticut hands down. They are made by hand in house and the spice proportion is really balanced. We tried vegetarian samosas. They are one of those rare desi restaurants that serve Vegan all the way to Non Veg. we had the shahi chicken biryani with the curries of Chicken HandI and Lamb curry. It had authentic taste with the right balance of spices. They are so proud of their spice mix that they sell it as well. Saag Paneer that is a combination of spinach mustard and Indian cheese. It was really awesome. Their beef Haleem was spicy and complemented by the condiments including ginger. If you want to have authentic desi food in Connecticut this place is real and we highly recommend it."

"As many know, I love stopping at hotdog stands, trucks and joints while travelling around chasing fish. Today I stopped in Marty's for the first time, which just happens to be about 5 miles from home and near the Home Depot. I don't think you could do any better than the Red Hot, a Rosol's hotdog grilled with a perfect snap when you bite in, served on a well toasted bun with brown mustard and Stan's hot relish. The owners were super friendly. Marty's is certainly worth a stop if in the area, or a jump off the interstate, if you're jonesing for a dog or burger."

"Great addition to the lunch scene downtown. I struggle to find a quality lunch under $10, until Rosie's came back to town. Martin Rosol dogs- the only hot dog in my opinion. Perfect rolls, great homemade toppings. I'm looking forward to trying the steamed cheeseburgers next time."
