"Their service is the highlight to our visit besides the magical setting and the good, well-portioned food. These days, it is difficult to find good and flexible services and the restaurant (esp. the restaurant manager), delivered. We dined there as part of the wine tasting and dinner package offered by the hotel. It was raining when we arrived so we were seated inside. As per package, we selected 3 courses but the portion was actually quite large. Having finished my vitello tonnato (which was delicious), I couldn't stomach a main portion of Guanciale and the manager had graciously allowed to change my main to the vegetable dish. When it was time for coffee, the sun was out and he placed us on a terrace table to enjoy the outdoor despite them having a party of 20 people coming in for a party in the garden. That is service! One negative from this place is that it is reachable only by a one-car, winding, narrow road OR by walking (1.5 hours hike from the hotel). But it was worth it."
