"Been dying to check this place out ever since I heard read about this Japanese café on the third floor off Residency road (right after bars Communiti and Sotally Tober).<br The café has a quaint, simple decor. They keep it simple with wooden chairs and tables to eat on. There's a couch in the corner to lounge your beverage of choice and leaf through the various leaflets and brochures around. It's part of a travel company that helps one get travel information and plan your trip to Japan.<br <br It's a simple with good bento meal options and other ala carte options. It's not an extensive menu but it's quite good. There's also a black board in the far corner of the dining room near the kitchen, which mentions specials of the day.<br <br For my appetizer I ordered: breaded cutlet<br It was interesting, light and simple with mild flavoured semi gravy stuffing<br (Japanese food is generally know for clean, simple flavours and nothing punchy spicy except for spicy Ramen) it was nice, but would I order it again, probably not.<br <br For Mains:<br Something new for me. It was a mixture of potato, carrots, beans, prawns and calamari dipped in tempura batter and deep fried. (My thought: a Japanese bhajjia). It tasted great hot (less tasty once cold).<br It was served on top of a bowl of rice with a sweet gravy and had 2 sides: one of pickled vegetables and another I couldn't figure.<br Overall something totally different from what I have eaten and enjoyed it. The pickles add much needed freshness to a fried dish.<br <br For dessert: Matcha parfait<br Talk about saving the BEST for last. This was the best Japanese dessert I have ever eaten in India. A terrific helping of matcha parfait (like ice cream) really creamy, smooth and tasty. This was topped with 2 cubes of seaweed jelly (coated with something) 1 small dollop of sweet red bean (which wasn't overly sweet, which I thought paired really well with the matcha ice cream) 1 mini pancake.<br <br All in all a sumptuous meal and I will be coming back for more!<br <br The sweet options here are a plenty. Allows for people to pop in for tea coffee with a dessert. They even have a dessert platter for you to sample a bunch.<br <br FYI, not a place for sushi lovers as you have only 2 options: California role for non vegetarians and Red and Yellow Bell pepper role for vegetarians."

"Calm and pleasant seating with subtle lighting. Greeted with a warm smile, the dishes were displayed in the mud earthenware with flaming wax below heating. Good place for a good buffet lunch.,"

"Mainland China is one of the most sought after Chinese brands and for all the right reasons.<br/ To begin with the Ambience is dim lit and flanked with chairs, . The Ambience has a slight touch of China with all those Chinese themed abstract paintings.<br/ <br/ The place easily gets packed Evan on a weekday, since my visit was on a weekday . We tried the following items and would suggest you to do as well<br/ <br/ 1) mocktails: they have a huge variety of them , and to be honest I love their fresh mint storm, and the watermelon and cilantro crush mocktails. Very well done and mostly refreshing.indeed a perfect partner with Chinese food <br/ <br/ 2) soup: tried the lung Fung chicken soup, comforting and I found it slightly bland for my pallete, so added a dash of pepper and it tasted fab.<br/ <br/ 3) dimsums: that's the thing I ate the most out here would clearly and highly recommend the Philadelphia cheese and endamane dimsums, they are cheesy and Soo good. A must try!<br/ Also thier chicken and mushroom pan fried gyozas never disappoints, the prawn hargao is an another crowd favorite!<br/ <br/ 4) main cource I tried the corn fried rice with drunken chicken gravy , it was spicy and went perfectly with the rice. But this was something my friends ate. I just had a bite and wasn't disappointed<br/ <br/ Jumping right on to the desserts , I was surprised that a Chinese place serves such amazing desserts .<br/ 1) chocolate dome with chocolate sauce : it's gets a little dramatic here ,since they pour the sauce and you can watch the dome melt ,the plate is loaded with ice cream, chocolate popcorn, brownies and yuminess!!<br/ <br/ 2) coconut caramel custard: since I'm a true caramel lover, I truely enjoyed this dessert<br/ <br/ 3) mango pudding# served bite sized, another classic!!!<br/ <br/ The service was prompt with waiters being attentive Evan during the rush hours, although certain dishes like dimsums might take a while since they make it from scratch.."
