"This Bread Museum is far more interesting than it might sound. We had a buffet meal first in the spacious restuarant beneath the museum. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the range of food. I cannot think of many museums around the world that provide food like that, most have fast food at best, this was a real restuarant experience. The museum itself was interesting though there is only so much you can say and show about making bread the cultural and historical side of bread making in Portugal was quite fascinating. There is a rather strange exhibition of gnome like puppets to be seen in another part of the building and a shop where you can buy bread and some other foods. Well worth a visit if you are in the area."
