"I admit I don't understand previous opinions. My companion and I visited this Monday, May 30, 2022, in the Brasserie de l’Évéché, for lunch. The frame is very cute. Typical of Grasse, and especially quiet, not like all the tourist catches. As far as waiting is concerned, our drinks were ordered 5 minutes after our arrival. And our dishes arrived in a normal time. We opted for the lemonade house at 4,9€ which was excellent, very refreshing and served in a large glass. Elsewhere, you pay your coca €4 and it's just a coca, and you make comments. As for the dish, we chose a queen pizza, all the elements were very tasteful, whether mushrooms or ham, and the dough was excellent. My companion chooses the daube, served in good quantity and quality meat. With a very good sauce, what to do with a bread that I thought was very good. Not the white wand without taste. For kindness, the staff listened, I found it at the other tables. Nothing to mention on this side, the smiling staff. I do not find at all the cost of high dishes for what has been served us. But it’s so much easier to write when you’re unhappy, than when it’s good! So when it’s okay, you have to say it too. Thank you for this great lunch and good continuation"

"Located in one of the many Squares in Grasse, this restaurant is surrounded by historic buildings, open air vegetable market, and competing restaurants. My Croque Monsieur was tasty and plentiful with lots of ham and Gruyere cheese topping. A plateful of crispy fries and salad greens completed the dish. My wife's Salade Nicoise was abundant and fresh. Our friends had coq au vin which was deemed just adequate. No white meat only dark. Gravy a little too salty. Our waiter once he heard some in our party speaking English proceeded to ignore us while clearing and resetting 4 tables. Others seated after us were promptly attended to. Heard that this sometimes happens in France but have never experienced this myself. Not too inviting!"

"This the worst restaurant I have ever been in. I had onion soup which appeared to be sliced onions blanched and served in their own liquor, which was lacking in salt, topped with a thick piece of bread and a thick layer of cheese. I only ate about half. The main course comprised two gambas which appeared to have been frozen-the flesh was dry and insipid. I only ate about 3 cubic millimetres from one gambas before giving up. There was also a rather pungent smell. The gambas was served with rice and rattatoi neither of which are appropriate and were not eaten. My partner had smoked salmon and a blini (which was insipid and appeared to have been frozen). Her main course was a small piece of fatty sea bass (which appeared to have been frozen and was insipid). It was served with rice which is inappropriate. She only ate about 40% of the fish and none of the rice. The experience cost us about 70 euros. We should have sent the dishes back but decided to walk away instead - cowards! This seems to be more of a pizza restaurant although the variety of choice on the menu gave a good range of dishes. We gained the impression that the restaurants in Grasse mainly serve pizzas, which may explain the very poor quality of the dishes."

"We ate yesterday in this restaurant, a little random.Finally it was a great surprise! simple but very good dishes, a friendly and fast service and a good atmosphere. We were 4, taking different dishes and desserts and everything was really good. The value/price ratio is correct and the service is fast enough. The cresson sauce is made home (I recommend it to you)I who will soon move to peymeinade, I will not delay to come back and advise you to make a tour as soon as you get the opportunity."
