"We were staying nearby in the also excellent Camping du Deffay and chose to dine here on two nights - both were fantastic. This restaurant is tucked away off the main road between Calviere and St Rein de Bretagne in a tiny village. To all holidaymakers it is well worth a try to sample some great local cuisine, very well priced in a lovely setting. We loved the fact that most things were left to our French interpretation , with the host speaking little English, this however added to the experience (host was lovely by the way and went out of her way to try and bridge the language gap)- if you are looking for translated menus, don't go here. Very much had a locals feel, again adding to the ambiance. My son's sampled the duck, which was cooked rare, veal and the fish of the day are also to be recommended. Set menus offered great value however with the four of us eating off the a'la carte with wine at around 100 euros was not expensive for the fare on offer. Really enjoyed our visit, slight negative.... seems petty but the potato rosti served with most main courses was not homemade, and out of character with everything else, very minor point however. We will definitely return when we stay in the area again."

"There are lots of restaurants along the quayside in Le Croisic, but given the torrential rain we chose this one as a waiter made the effort to welcome us in and find a table for us. We both went for a galette - I can highly recommend the country ham with Cure Nantais cheese. Most customers were eating moules frites, and seeing just how enormously fat and juicy the mussels were I wondered if I should have chosen them instead of the galette! The service was brisk and friendly - this is a place that is used to serving lots of people promptly and turning over tables quickly. Our son had the usual "menu enfant" - not very inspiring but he was happy. It was noticeable that there were lots of families eating here, and the staff were tuned in to their needs."

"Had read about the good eating, so we thought we were trying. we were not disappointed that the outside keeps them wondering if they have the right place as they first go into the bar area, the restaurant area is right. her eye as she put the black board menu on her table. English is well spoken here, we were helped in our choice without being pushed a nice note for a local restaurant. the food was delicious great aromen and presented with great style. I've shared some pictures. I had chefdu jour, a pate with salat some beautiful extra touchse to improve the aromen, followed by a sublime thun fish dish with aromen rich, my wife had escalopes to begin followed by a very beautiful huge duck breast (see pictures). Unfortunately we didn't have space for the desert. another nice note was to see that the cook comes out of the kitchen to talk to the guests, see if everything was to our joy, I would go absolutely back when I recommended in the opposite."
If you crave for sweet dishes, Le Comptoir des Saveurs with its fine desserts can surely make an end of it, Also, the atmosphere is of course significant, so the guests appreciate not only the fine dishes, but also the bistro as such love. You can still relax at the bar after the meal (or during it) and enjoy a alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink, The guests of the restaurant are also thrilled with the extensive selection of differing coffee and tea specialities that the establishment offers.

"We have dined here on Tuesday night as the Clos de Melanie was closed, although it should be open [Black Mark]. We were not disappointed. Although this relay primarily offers for Les Routiers, we have an amazing experience. On arrival we were met with a posse of the French army carrying their weapons!, then there was a detachment of the Sapeurs Pompiers from Paris and finally a brigade of the Gendamerie. They are all in convoy towards Pontchateau at 21:00. But back to dinner: the first course was a Help Yourself Buffet that would have been enough alone. The second choice was the choice of fish, beef or pork. The third course was a good part of three cheeses, and the last course was the desert, the Salad de Fruite and Tarte au Pommes among several. a 1 2 liter of wine or water or a bottle of beer was included in the price of 14 euros. The buffet was really good, the main course appropriate and the tart super as expected. Very recommended. Only one point, the ladies were numbered around 200!!!! Don't let all trucks drop off, you'll have a very good meal at a reasonable price."
