"A beautiful environment next to the river. on a warm sunny evening can sit outside with beautiful decor, lighting terrace heating . eating is plentiful! waitig staff polite and helpful. all this at a very reasonable price compared to some restaurants that would calculate about the dach for similar. they would recommend the boothouse!"

"The teestuben serve fantastic food. I would recommend the frying dinner on Wednesday and Sunday. make sure they book in advance, although it is sold out. the breakfast is also excellent. all prices are very reasonable. everything is cooked to order and the staff is very friendly and accommodating."

"The extremely hot weather early September boosted their trade, but overwhelmed their capabilities. Planned to eat in the restaurant, but the slow moving queue at the bar to order put us off. Purchased some snacks from the kiosk with the boat hire. Expensive and served by a grumbling lady who moaned that the queue was going the wrong way. Overflowing bins uncleared tables. I can accept that they're overwhelmed during mini heat waves, but it's a licence to print money on that location, so some more preparedness (staff would help. Purchased some drinks from the vendor pitched up opposite in the field as they were a fraction of the price, colder and quicker (friendlier! service. It's hard to distinguish between the venue and the clientele."

"*EDIT original review below* Manager of the Play Barn approached us later on, was very apologetic, she was lovely and more than made up for the earlier interactions with the restaurant staff and Play Barn staff. Seems the combination of being short staffed and very busy contributed to our less than ideal initial experience. Our little girl loves the soft play, so we’ll likely try again another day ———————————————————— Terrible customer service, terrible experience. The facilities are nice, fun activities for the kids, but the terrible management and awful customer service mean that we’re unlikely to ever return. The site was clearly unprepared for increase footfall in the summer holidays, and the staff were rude when spoken with. We’d intended to come in and have lunch in the restaurant before our booking in the barn. The restaurant had over an hour wait for food and wouldn’t let any more customers in, the cafe wouldn’t let us buy food before our time slot even though the restaurant were not letting anyone else in. Despite a large number of empty tables, we weren’t even allowed to sit down and wait for our time slot so we had to carry our 1yr old around for a further 45mins. Based on the other reviews this might have been an isolated incident, but our first visit was a very bad experience."
