"Marque and I cannot stop talking about this place from the proprietor, Lucio, to the fantastic wait staff, Antonio it’s a family owned restaurant. They are absolutely amazing. Their dog, Vato (I am misspelling for sure) loved on us like he had always known us! Came in for a back rub and made us feel like family! I have to admit for the 5+ years we’ve lived here. We don’t spend a whole lot of time in busy Pozzuoli, but we will be coming to this restaurant on a regular basis! For the record, I want to say that I had the best Bacala I’ve had since I’ve been here. Marque said that his Spaghetti Vongole was at the top of his list as well! The Falanga wine was from Campi Flegrei! Lucia’s business card is attached. Use the cell! The outside fits 35-45 people! In a few months, it will be perfect out there! Please visit this place! You won’t regret It! Tell him Emilia and Marco sent you!! All of the above are in the pics!"

"On the postcard the spot looks nice, on the spot it not so bad as a beach, but : 1. Parking and welcoming is almost impossible and so organized to squeeze to the last penny of the poor tourist wanting to enjoy the beachside there. 2. Per car when available parking costs five euros and ... Two per bicycle ! 3. If you leave your bicycle outside 'someone ' damages it. (Personal real life experience. 4. Food on the spot is tasteless, soaked with sauce, and greasy. 5. Service hostile. Bottles bright opposition the table where they are needed. Plates come when possible. Fish over grilled. Salads wet from many hours ago, no olive oil... 6. Bill was asked for many times in detailed lines: impossible. Stamp on bill unreadable. 7. Globally the dreadful normally imaginary southern Italy bad joint... Live and real. 8. First real horrible experience in Bacoli hope this will stay the only one. 9. Will never return until management changes."

"We went around and saw this restaurant and were invited. they were only opened three days. I had mixed roasted seafood with salat and my man had grilled garnels with a beautiful salat of tomato, fish and mozzarella du bufala. Service...was very good, the prices were very reasonable and they were open for American hours. we will definitely go back."

"My partner and I ate together as we were staying just around the corner in Baia. We had the mixed antipasti to start with and I have to say it was really very good. There's no menu so we just asked what was good and we're given that. For the first course we had one seafood risotto and one seafood spaghetti. Both were lovely but if I had to choose I would recommend having the risotto. Secondi was some simply fried fish which again were cooked perfectly although at that point I'm not sure how we could fit it all in. We washed it all down with a couple of bottles of the house white which certainly wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination. All for €70, which we thought was very good value!"

"The restaurant 'A Ninfea is located in Pozzuoli, exactly on Lake Lucrino. It is a very fine and elegant restaurant with a modern and romantic atmosphere. The very nice terrace overlooking the lake. I was lucky to have dinner there a warm October afternoon and it was a wonderful experience. Especially known for its fresh fish, the restaurant also serves meat-based dishes. The fish is always fresh and of good quality; in the bar they have the nurseries with the fishing of the day, in addition to a large aquarium with the seafood. Sometimes it is possible to choose directly from the tanks, the fish you want to eat. The menu offers a wide variety of delicate and creative dishes. I recommend the squid to the grill because it is an abundant portion and the flavor is unmatched. The desserts are very good; I tried a delicious strawberry pie. Being an elegant place, prices are not low, but it is worth visiting if you want to eat well."

"Over the years, I have enjoyed many meals at Mario Goretti 's ristorante named after his mother, Rosalia. This cozy restaurant is a real gem! Besides the relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere upon entering, you immediately encounter a pleasant and helpful staff that will guide you to a table. Many days Mario, the owner, is on site and happily greets guests both new and old. Since most dishes are prepared from fresh and local ingredients, you will always enjoy a tasty meal. The go to specialty of the house is seafood. Most of the seafood is fresh daily and cooked on an open wood fired grill in the kitchen. The aroma of the grilled seafood and vegetables permeates the air in the restaurant which heightens one 's appetite. The first time I had grilled fish here I was so impressed by its freshness, taste, and presentation. Primo! All of the sauces are prepared from scratch especially the marinara which slowly simmers all day to join pasta dishes later. The salads are always fresh and served with a light olive oil and vinegar mix if desired. My favorite salad (in season) is thickly sliced deep red tomatoes married with slices of locally made buffalo mozzarella topped with fresh basil and finished with a quick drizzle of olive oil. With a pinch of sea salt, some crusty bread, and a glass of white wine, the first course is complete! If you have room after a delightful and non-rushed meal, the tiramisu is excellent. Throughout the dining experience, the service is first class! Mario takes great pride is offering the best seafood north of Naples with warm hospitality and attentive service.
