"This is maybe the best Restaurant in a 5 minute walk distance from the famous Entroncamento railway station. I went there for a family meeting and I was surprised not only by the food and the good relation quality/price but also becuase the service was excellent. Entroncamento was not a place to visit until recently the Ferroviário Museum was oppened. For those who are into train memorabilia and collections having lunch in this Restaurante and visiting the Museum can be a perfect plan for a onde day tour."

"I haven't been to this restaurant since it was rebuilt. I was pleasantly surprised by the new facilities. A huge dining room with a very high ceiling and lots of tables arranged very formally. It was bright and airy and although busy the noise was dissipated and not intrusive.A bowl of olives was placed on the table with a basket of bread and a plate of individual butters (1 euro each) and fish/meat pates. You pay for what you eat and we usually send them back but this time tried the olives, which were mediocre..My plate for the main course was dirty, and felt like sand paper when fingers were run across it. The waiter felt it and said "how awful I will get you another.Two of us had half a dose (5.50) of baccalau in a creme sauce and the other two had pork chops, one had half a dose (4.50) and the other a full dose (8.50). My Portuguese friend thought the bacalhau was good and the others enjoyed their chops. For me bacalhau will never be as good a fresh cod but this was ok. The mixed salad was not the fresh robust salad you usually get in a Portuguese restaurant but a rather prissy tired presentation of rows of thinly sliced tomatoes and cucumber, a little lettuce and beetroot.Service was slow and the bill for four, when it eventually came, was 44.30 including a small carafe of wine, juice and mineral water, 4 sweets and the salad. We had a cheap and cheerful evening with friends.."
