"The Lobster Pound and Moore was the highlight of our visit to North Sydney. Chef Richard Moore served each of us the biggest, most flavorable lobsters we had ever eaten. He made sure we knew how to attack the monsters to get every delectable bite out them. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere in the kitchen and dining room was joyful. It is a "don't miss" restaurant. Make sure to have reservations as the place was sold out the night we were there."
The comprehensive selection of coffee and tea specialties greatly enhances the value of a visit to Lobster Pound Restaurant & Moore, and you can look forward to the scrumptious classic seafood cuisine. If you have little appetite, you can treat yourself to one of the fine sandwiches, a small salad or another snack, And of course, you should also try the fine burgers, with sides such as fries, salads, or wedges offered.

"Absolutely amazing experience again! We came here 6 years ago and finally had a chance to return with friends. The restaurant, service and food was beyond 5 stars. The staff are incredible and the chef creates such a unique experience while dining. The new location offers a great waterfront view. We will be back next summer!"

"We actually are staying at this inn tonight and had dinner here after checking in. The food was amazing - homemade turkey vegetable soup was incredible and the chef's salad was huge. Haddock was the special tonight and the fish was thick, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend this restaurant - we will return for breakfast in the morn!"

"I chose this restaurant because a few locals raved about it and I wanted a flame grilled steak. It Maybe it was the generous portions of deep fried foods that they like because I saw loaded baskets being brought to almost every patron in the room. However because I am celiac, the staff was friendly and strove to make substitutions, i.e. butter and lemon in place of gravy. For $20 a plate I would expected my -bone steak to be either a better quality cut or a thicker cut (super thin). It was cooked well and the mashed potatoes were tasty. One thing I very much enjoyed was the generous vegetable, the turnip and carrot combination hand prepared and cooked to perfection."
When the weather is nice you can also be served outside, And into the accessible rooms also come customers with wheelchairs or physiological limitations.

"This used to be a chip truck and they created a restaurant from it. It's small but not claustrophobic and they have great take out. The food is all fresh and home cooked. Great place to visit and eat."

"This was our second visit as the first one was great, so we wanted to come back.... Will not be back for the third time! We ordered two of the specials. One was great, the other tasted and there was a piece of stick in the food and waitress was immediately reported. The waitress was beautiful and as helpful as she was allowed to be. I asked to return it and order something else. The new court was excellent. We got the bill and were also charged for the dissatisfied record (that had a stick in it). I asked to talk to the owner, and when she came out immediately, I actually started screaming about no discounts and implicitly I put the floor there before I could even speak. Very bad management/owner, she is very unprofessional, rude and I was not allowed to speak before she stormed into the kitchen and screamed the door in another language. The waitress got a great tip though she was great."

"We had the buffet , lots of good food , very friendly Staff , The waitress came to our table to see if we were enjoying our meal , and refill coffee or tea . The view there is awesome . The restaurant is very clean .The seafood here is very good one of our friends had pan fried halibut ,he said it was very delicious ."
