"I used to think that Le Fin Bec was the best restaurant in France. However, I have revised my opinion: it's the best in the world. I have had quenelles in other places, but Frederick is the only cook who actually makes them; all others are canned. It is really gratifying to hear the sauce being whipped in the kitchen AFTER one orders it. The food is indeed exquisite. If Ms. "could do more" found the service unfriendly, it's because she is used to the English model described by Frank McCourt: head down in deference to the customer and one must toady at all times.Our waiter was friendly and kind and mentioned that he remembered and appreciated us from previous years. In addition, the restaurant is just the right size. If it were bigger, and if the menu were more expensive, it would turn into one of those awful factories that get rich from mediocrity. "The landscape is nice and the staff is very friendly. We order steak/ fritures and chicken with cream. The deep fried fish were not grilled enough. The chicken pcs were not the best. However the seasoning was very good. The steak was ok . We had some faisselle cheese which was ok. Still a nice place. Price are reasonable"
