"So we go there for the first time. The first thing you feel is almost like your not welcome. They aren't friendly at all and then as your looking at a huge book of a menu and trying to decide, a gentleman walks up and says we close at 9pm I said ohhh what time is it and it was 8pm. So right away we felt rushed. The service was quick that was good. The fried tofu was so dry it was difficult to swallow. We ordered a seafood soup that was ok they gave us spoons that had yellow crustyness on them and I used my finger nail to scape the debris off. I mentioned it to them politely they were dirty and they said it's just stained that's how they are. I was shocked to hear that. I ordered crispy fish it had no price I asked how much it was because it said market pricing. She said about 19 dollars. The fish was actually good but the bill sank in at 30$ for that dish. I told the guy she said it was 19$ and he said no no not 19$ its 29.99. He then still charged us and we obviously left without tip that was a complete con job set up to get us. I won't eat there again and people should not go there."

"Service was less than satisfactory. Refused to make grilled chicken on a stick, but said I could have grilled chicken with an up charge for two orange slices. Cold soup, appetizer of edamame was watery and cold. Worst experience in 8 years dining out. Server offered zero options…and rarely frequented our table. So my chicken got cold waiting for chili sauce…which there was oddly no up charge for…lol. Short staffed, unclean and lacking in the customer service care. Not coming back."

"Absolutely they love eating, the personal and the family that belongs to the red lantern. they understand what vegan means and most dishes can be veganized if they are not already. the walking joy, the Mongolian tofu and the Thai fried rice are popular! a very nice atmosphere, although the outer deceives."

"I ordered to attend a busy evening. They let me know it would wait about 30 minutes. The portions obtained were large and the food was fresh. Check before ordering after your daily special! The teriyaki sauce seemed watered but it was a bit bland and runny. Win it 4 stars. *Update* We tried this place again for the takeover. Placed a large order and it was done in 30 min, great timing especially considering how much we ordered. The children's dishes were also impressive, see the photo of Teriyaki chicken with a pick of rice for reference. From 7 of us: 5 said it was absolutely delicious, 1 said really good, and 1 said it was okay. Contains large portions, tasted fresh, Teriyaki sauce was no longer dirty. Changing the rating on 5 stars as 4.5 is not an option and this place is so much better than any other anywhere near. One last note, this place does not charge extra for rice, miso soup, and rice like some others do now."
