"We went on a Monday lunchtime. It turned out it was the day after First Holy Communion Sunday when every restaurant in Italy is packed! When I walked in, it was evident that there had been a big function the day before, and I thought they were closed. I saw no one, but could hear voices. I discovered all the staff having their lunch in a nearby room. I asked if they were open, and they smiled and said yes. One showed us to a table by a window and got us some drinks. Then the lady chef came and asked us what we would like to eat!! No menu. So, we suggested a Spaghetti Carbonara, and a Gnocchi with cheese sauce. Sure, she said! Delicious food, EXCEPTIONAL service, and all done with a smile! WELL DONE! We shall be back."
