"Lovely little café on the water. The red haired waitress that served us was very happy and pleasant.<br/ <br/ Menu had the usual suspects all at the usual prices so there was something for everyone.<br/ <br/ I very much enjoyed my mushroom salad with blood orange, fig compote, goat cheese and rocket with toast and poached eggs $18). My companion enjoyed her breakfast bowl $18). Coffee a bit weak. Biscuit on the side nice touch but tasted awful' they should make their own shortbread instead.<br/ <br/ Recommended if you are in the area. I also really recommend The Island café."

"The staff were lovely and warmed my orange and almond cake and my friend’s scone. Unfortunately there was only a half of a small dish of jam and cream which hardly covered half of the scone and needed to be severely rationed to make it...over both (which was incredibly disappointing). We asked for more, but the request was forgotten, despite the fact that only 2 other tables were occupied. The chairs all needed a good wipe down, but otherwise fairly clean and a good ambiance."
