"I came to clacton on the sea for a holiday and to the luck found the golden fillet that for people with a gluten intolerance! I was amazed at how much was served that was gluten-free and as it was known to the staff (often can be a care when it says). the chips were delicious and I could even have a gluten-free sausage. it was a breath of fresh air to talk to a manager with such passion in catering for people with gluten intolerance that makes it much easier to know reliable places for eating. I recommend the fish and chip-laden to each and above all the with zöliakie."

"Absolutely excellent service from going to the door. we had two dogs with us who were given just as much of a greeting and attention. they also liked the free one. we had fish and chips that were excellent and I recommend the haloumi fries. I can't wait to eat here again!"

"We'd done our favourite walk along the sea-front from Frinton to Walton and were looking forward to our fish n chips at Yates. But for some reason they got it horribly wrong on this occasion. It took over half an hour to cook my piece of plaice (nobody else was queuing during that time) and when I unwrapped it, the fish batter was rock hard and over cooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. The chips were soggy and all stuck together. What a huge disappointment."
