"We recently visited Il Pelicano and reserved a table at the Peligrill. The evening started with a little rain and the staff quickly re-arranged the tables to our liking. The dinner was outstanding great pasta, seafood and the Italian version of chicken. Highly recommend...this place."

"In the beautiful Tuscan seaside town of Porto Ercole, Le plaisir du vin is a must for any seafood lover. The best quality products of the Mediterraneo and the great knowledge and expertise of chef Stefano allows this little bistro to master the Italian specialty of crudi raw seafood. Just try as much you can spend. Crudi doesn 't come cheap, you get what you pay for. The variety and freshness of fish and crostacei are outstanding. Wine and drinks too. Not to mention the location and the views."

"From my point of view prices are really exaggerated. you play on high kitchen but you eat on plastic tables in front of a carrabile step on a wall full of writings. the only dish we took (a second) was good but for a pork dish it is really too much. the covered was too expensive. I don't know, I wouldn't recommend that."

"The position is good, right on the main street. the food is not up to standard. the pizzas taste like they are precooked or frozen, it doesn't taste like a wood burning stove cooked pizza, very drab. the placemats were greasy and old. someone in my group ordered a risotto it tasted of nothing at all. the staff is very friendly and nice , but the cook needs to be fired. NOT GOOD FOOD AT ALL, a pity!!!"
