"Having read reviews prior to our January 2012 trip we really wanted to go to this restaurant. WE were peering over its gate one afternoon (they were closed) when someone invited us in...... we met the owner and discovered this was his last week to be open because he was retiring. Too bad they were fully booked so we did not get to experience the place. I just wanted to let you know of this change in events. Not sure if anyone else is going to take it over ????"

"We were just popping in for a quick meal as we'd driven over to Interlaken from France. We thought we'd just make things easy as we were tired and ordered some food at the SeeHotel restaurant which was called Elements. I was absolutely shocked at the perfect service and quiet ambience in this lovely restaurant looking out over the lake to the snow covered mountains. I choose the local organic steak with mustard crust and caramel risotto with vanilla. I was just stunned at the quality of the meat and as i live in Uruguay my meat tastes are excellent. The owner explained that this was from an organic herd in Switzerland and they took many precautions to make sure their meat was 100% organic and never compromised. They would even require the hotel to report back to them sales figures to make sure no one would try to market their meat with an other product. Just a super well priced meal in a lovely setting and great service. I will be back for this steak again."

"The food just isn't that good. On top of that, the prices (not just for here, pretty much all of Switzerland) are ridiculous. One of us had a roast with instant potatoes, another a pizza that only 1 slice was eaten, my wife had the curry but there was only 5 pieces of chicken in it, and I had cordon bleu which was okay at best. There was alot going on inside with soccer on TV, and the servers were really nice and excited to be there. Sorry, the food is not up to par."

"This is a nice resort where we spent a night. It is just far enough away from the busier parts of town that it feels like a quiet getaway but close enough that it's possible to walk to Interlaken Ost. The only snag was we had some difficulty finding vegetarian food at breakfast and the staff member there was quite rude to us about it. Not a great impression to make on your guests!Apart from that, lovely resort with mostly friendly staff!"
