"Its a minute walk to Colva Beach. Place looks very basic. I only had their goan Thali and it tasted really good. Fish curry, vegetable stir fry, prawn coconut chutney, fish fry everything tasted really good. Nothing fancy. But food was good. At night mosquitos are a problem since it's outside."

"The fish market of God is just close by, they get the fresh supply everyday basis,this ensures a fresh supply. What is best the chef is the house lady,we enjoyed our meal the best. It is a family run business attracts tourist and locals alike. The price is very reasonable."

"Please forgive me to write this review from an English perspective. we just returned from lunch with friends to home and I can only ask why we haven't found this jewel yet? they can happen by thinking it is just another local restaurant. for local people. be not stupid! eating here is quite amazing, from chili filled bombay ente and lepo (sorry, if I miss the prawn curry and rice, it is all cooked to perfection and tastes delicious. if they like to pick up with the fingers, they just stick and remove the swirl column bone and eat the fish as it comes. unbelievable! note that the fish can be quite sharp if they don't expect it (love it! Our friend is vegetarian and she had a tadka valley and paratha (again, excuse for the writing that was great! many thanks for an unforgettable meal."

"I visited this place on the recommendation of my wife's uncle...who's taste in food I have a very high regard for. And I must admit that I wasn't at all disappointed.This place is quite the hole in the wall with a very basic ambiance. On my visit ... I did not find a single tourist and that too in the busy month of January. All I could see was locals enjoying a good afternoon meal. As per the waiter's recommendation I ordered for a Chanak (a local goan fish) rama fry, a prawns rava fry and a tisrya (clams) rava masala fry... and a beer to wash it down with. OMG.... It was mind blowing. This is what goan food is supposed to taste like. The food was perfectly fried...not too oily and was very different from the regular vindaloo..sorpotel affair which have become the hallmark of goan cuisine. Over all... great taste and an even greater value for money. Thumbs up"

"Whilst on our beach holiday to Goa, we visited many restaurants but by far two places stand out from all the others. This review is about Martins. The food was fantastic as was the vibrant atmosphere. Good food, reasonably priced, clean and a local's favourite....PS book a table before arriving, especially for supper."
