"Saw the 'Midds Bluewater' sign by the round-about when we were looking at a car for sale in Port Sorrel on Sunday. When we finally found it (by the Police Station), 'Midds' looked closed but, ... it was open! Lots of parking. We had great food; very fresh, flavoursome and good value for money. And 'yes' the award winning steak sandwich is really, really good and I highly recommend it. Nice atmosphere, beachy and very clean. Friendly guys running the place. Apparently there is a paved sunny courtyard out the back with tables and chairs; I wish we could have known because it was a fabulous day and eating in the sun is always nice. The one thing that struck me about 'Midds' is the freshness of the food. Oh!, .... and the salad dressing is divine. Only wish they had gluten free on the menu. This is the 'thinking persons restaurant' (for when you want a fresh, tasty meal that is refined). We will definitely make a trip from Devonport to test-drive their evening menu (but for now I have to continue watching Bathurst 1000)."

"5 minutes in the load, then I saw 5 people behind the counter. I was viewed by a worker while no other time took me to welcome or ask if I was served. it wasn't busy at all. I've gone to an end. I was there the day before and had to ask for service. the sandwiches and paninis were also eating yesterday. I'm not back. I was apalled"

"Excellent service, super comfortable lounges, limited Dine-in room, great pizzas, fish and chips, burger, sandwiches, parmigianas, eis. I was pleasantly surprised to find this beautiful place next to the lions holiday park in port sorell, tasmania. Note that it is closed on Mondays and closes by 8 o'clock each other day."

"This a friendly joint and they serve the best fish and chips for miles. Beautiful, fresh fish, really nice crisp chips all at pretty decent prices. The only downside is unless you call an order through, you will have a long wait, so popular is...this place."
