"I only buy fish and chips from this establishment. The fish especially fried is so delicious, crispy batter and thick cut chips. Salt and vinegar on everything is a must. Also order the fish cakes, they are fresh and tasty. Lastly their range of sauces ate Excellent and my favorite is the pink seafood sauce. I also tried the sushi once and was extremely happy with the quality and prices."

"Cannot rate these guys high enough. I was craving a sushi donut, Fri night and no booking and we got a table. John was our waiter. From the greeting by the hostess, to the attentive nature of all the staff, the smiles and familiarity to their 'usual ' regulars. The management are hands on and it shows. And that was before the food arrived, those sushi donuts are too good! Presentation tops and yummy. Hubby had good ol ' fish and chips that went down a hit too. Didn 't have deep fried brownies this time, have had before, and those are divine! Thanks Jack Salmon for a fabulous evening."

"Bartho's whatsapp group lets you know what fresh fish is available and when they have fresh oysters in stock. Small but excellent quality fresh and frozen seafood selection. Love the frozen curry sauce. Their sushi is always fresh and super affordable."

"Ordered 2 large hake and chips. Got two medium or small hakes. I called to explain and was told if the box was big then it was a large. The manager called from his car to tell me I was lying and they were large. They were less than half the size of the ones from Broadway Fishaways...so rather go there."

"Okay so firstly.. food was good.. the prices I guess are reasonable considering the size of prawns and type of calamari used.. I loved loved loved loved the rice that comes with the meal.. goes great with the food.. and I LOVE the mash too.. When you sit down, you get 6 rolls brought to your table along with butter.. The only negative thing I guess is that on their menus.. they don't specify prices of ordinary cool drinks and milkshakes yet they do offer this.. on the food menu they don't specify prices of rolls or additional sides.. like garlic rolls etc.. and this can sometimes leave you guessing till you get your bill.. But other than that.. waiters are extremely helpful and efficient.. very friendly and approachable.. Loved this place.. took our moms out for Mother's Day and the only thing I regret is not trying their brownie dessert.. Worth it!"
