"Visited this restaurant a few times over the last 10 years or so as it s close to our holiday home base . The restaurant has re opened in summer 2019 . We re -visited last week and were pleased we did. The relaxed atmosphere , chilled background music and fantastic food service made it a great place to unwind. We re visited twice more during our stay . The restaurant menu is perfect- just enough choice and very good value. Steak and fish dishes were cooked perfectly to our requests. There’s a wide choice of drinks but the house wines are excellent and again good value. Probably worth checking out the website for special events as I believe the restaurant is trying to run taster afternoon evenings menus with entertainment. Highly recommended . Make a visit ."

"We were all starving and it looked nice on the outside. We had been on a morning trip to see the reservoir nearby, and on our way to the waterfalls. We were thrilled to see the gorgeous pool, but the waiter, who spoke English whisked...us away to the far end of the restaurant in the only room with no-one else there yet. This was odd, as there were lots of free tables in the first room, and on the terrace outside. Lots of people were swimming, but it was never explained to us that eating there entitled us to swim in the pool. The menu was in English and about 4 or 5 other languages, which was great. Two of my son's chose pizzas and said they were ok, another son chose sausage, egg and chips and enjoyed 2 out of 3 sausages. I ordered the grilled Calamari that was huge and slightly tough, I'd have preferred a younger squid cooked slightly less. My husband got a cheese board and large salad. Food was OK and servings were huge, but very mediocre in quality. Meals were very overpriced and the charges on the bill were more than stated on the menu. It could have been such a nice experience with friendly, forthcoming staff! Unfortunately, this was not our experience."

"We were lucky to get a table on a Sunday lunchtime as we hadn 't booked. Also you should book ahead for paella as this was not available for 'walk-ins '. A simple, very Spanish restaurant with fabulous views from the terrace (reserve a table here . Fabulous, authentic atmosphere with Spanish and French families enjoying long lunches. The prices are amazing! Paella is about €7.50 each but you can get it as part of a set menu that was about €12 per person with a salad starter, dessert, bread and alioli and a drink. As we could not have paella we chose rabbit with garlic (and I mean whole cloves! unsophisticated, wholesome stuff which was just what we wanted. The service was not quick but who wants to rush? Worth the drive up the mountain! A world away from Benidorm that can just be seen on the distant horizon!"
