"Stop for lunch and used the ride thru. Good food and service! Had a chalupa with two hard bowls of tacos who were brilliant! Order light salad, they did not skip to the rest and honestly they were the best tacos I have in a while from any Taco Bell!"

"You may be reading this and think to yourself who leaves reviews for fast food places? , and yeah I get it, it 's just another McDonald 's. The thing is, all locations are absolutely not created equal and the good, bad, and ugly should be pointed out from time to time. I think we all can agree that post Pandemic, fast food experiences are at an all time low, and believe me I have had my share of pretty terrible ones. However, my experience eating at this particular location was the complete opposite of terrible. I do want to first and foremost mention that I am only speaking on my experience with the drive thru here as I have never actually been inside. This particular McDonald 's in located in a very busy and thriving part of small town South Lyon. Nestled within a myriad of other eateries, grocery stores, and other retail shopping. It 's very conveniently located and as you may know Pontiac Trail can get very, very busy at times. That might actually be my only complaint about this location. During peak times, it can be a real pain trying to get in and out of here because of how busy the surrounding area gets. Luckily for you, there is a little short cut at the back of this parking lot that connects to the much bigger parking lot where all of the retail places and shops live. If you keep going far enough, you will eventually make it to a point where you can get out into traffic at a stop light, so you won 't have to keep battling traffic coming at you every which way as you would trying to get out of McDonald 's the normal way. Okay enough about parking lots and traffic. Service here is relatively quick (though I am sure it gets backed up during peak dining times), and the staff is polite, friendly, professional, punctual and accurate. I received my order very quickly and what I ordered was actually in the bag (imagine that). Not only was my order correct, but my nuggets and fries were piping hot like they were prepared for my order and hadn 't been sitting around under a heat lamp for 2 hrs. To be completely honest, this is far beyond what I 've come to expect from a post pandemic McDonald 's trip, so to say that I was rather delighted would be an understatement. When all is said and done, I stopped here expecting a rather subpar experience, and wound up having myself a very delightful lunch. If you 're in the neighborhood, I wouldn 't hesitate stopping for a bite here."

"Placed a mobile order for pick up sat in line for 20 minutes just to be told they did not get my order refused to help with a solution and told me I was holding up the drive thru, I asked if Lobby was open to go in and double check and show them my order confirmation, not the first time this has happened at this location, but person operating the drive through was very rude ignored my questions and emphasized that I was holding up the line. thank goodness the bank was able to give me a refund but will find a different location to go to from now on"

"Frustrating at every step. This time they can 't get the address right until I repeat it several times (last time they couldn 't find the house , I wonder why? . The delivery driver does not receive my simple instructions, I call to have it corrected and apparently they can 't reach the delivery driver as it 's now ten? fifteen? minutes later. This goes on for some time, I call a third time and I have to explain the same simple issue twice... then I 'm put on hold, and a few minutes later I 'm transferred back to the front with the same issue still persisting the driver is still knocking and ringing. I didn 't want to be interrupted and I 'm currently indisposed that 's why I scheduled a no contact delivery but I am beyond interrupted at this point, so I just give up and handle it myself. Not a single part of this went smoothly..."
