"First up i thought the front of house staff were hard working and courteous, which is always a great sign. We went to try the new menu, and it has a lot more 'chefy ' options than before, like pistachio crumbed chicken, slow cooked ribs, s&p pork belly salad etc. Anyway we ordered standard pub food, a rump and a linguini marinara. The marinara was crazy chilli hot, i love super hot food but it was way over the top. To their credit they replaced it sans chilli and it was great. The tomato base was deep in flavour. The way they handled our complaint was brilliant, a sign of well trained and thoughtful staff. Would highly recommend a visit as it suits both pub grub and slightly more adventurous diners."

"The good: ability to have your fish oven baked instead of fried, the prawn Bao was sensational two plump juicy large prawns in a supersized Bao.<br/>The wood baked fish was nice. Crab cakes were ok but not amazing certainly better than some of the mass produced ones I have tasted previously.<br/>The not as good: the fish burger was full of tasty things (such as the salt and pepper crisp crust) but fish fillet itself was very flat and not enough fish flesh... would have liked more.<br/>Was tempted to order a lobster roll but at $26 I was hoping there would be more than 30g of lobster (what the staff told me when I asked how much there was). I had so many good lobster rolls in NYC, happy to pay good coin for them but want them to be full of lobster.<br/>Overall great potential and I'll be back to try more.... and eat those super sized prawn baos!"

"Hmm.. Edible but definitely not the best around.. The beef noodle has always had a weird greenish tinge, doesn't taste like it should. The roast pork is always soggy chewy the fish sauce is way too salty. Fine for a cheap eat or a quick fix but wouldn't waste your time if you're looking for a really good meal."

"My daughter is hard to please so when we were told the snitzels were big we had to see it to believe it, on arrival at Maranello we were greeted by friendly staff. The chicken snitzel came out on a rectangle plate and it overlapped it! the crumb was fresh the chunky chips perfect and pepper gravy was just right. I chose from the specials board beef medallion was perfect. Will be back next week Emilie"

"My husband and I have just started coming in regularly on Thursday nights. When we come, our food is always good and was just as good last night. However, our server was different this time around and she was amazing. We haven't seen her here before and although we could tell she was very busy when it came to serving not only us, but everyone she was still lovely. She definitely seemed like a genuinely friendly person and we hope to see her there again."
