"Point négatif: (on va commencer par cela)Arrivés à 8h15 suivant la réservation, le service d'accueil est très performant.Mise en place après 5mn d'attente , juste le temps de débarrasser les clients en partance et réception de la carte. 2mn suivante, demande de la possibilité de prendre un apéritif, servi une bonne dizaine de mn après. Jusqu'ici tout est correcte et sympathique.Par contre après 3/4 d'heure on est venu prendre la commande qui a été servi 15 mn après.c'est a dire 1h00 après l'arrivée. C'est un peu long ! ! !Le dessert lui, a demandé 30mn de plus.Point positif:Les plats sont à la hauteur de leur prix et très bons.Les deux serveuses souriante et surtout l'une d'elle venu nous dire quelques mots comprenant un peu la situation d'attente un peu longue.La salle pleine pour un samedi soir à Meyras où pour un 3 juin c'était le seul resto ouvert et le patron seul au commande.Conclusion malgré l'attente d'un repas avec:2 Kir2 Galettes aux St Jacques "Galette Sardazine"2 Crêpes "Normande" et Ardèchoise"1/2 RoséLe tout pour 45.50 euros pour 2 heures a deux.Je recommande et remercie notre serveuse d'avoir su décontracter l'ambiance de la soirée et félicite ces 2 serveuses pour le travail fait ce soir là."

"In the small villages in Ardeche, most restaurants are closed at this time of the year. We had passed through Meyras on the way to Thuyets, which is a bigger town. We thought that being bigger meant beter choices, but there was nothing decent there. It was so bad that we decided to drive back to Meyras, where we had seen L'Alambic. We did not regret, everything was fantastic. It is located in a quiet spot, in the old town, with a lovely terrace where you can hear the water from an ancient font nearby. We ordered the menu of the day, three courses for 15 euros: janbonette (unique local ham, two very large thick pieces) with salad and white butter (to die for) for first course. For main, quail with fries (delicious fries, and a very generous portion) and cepe mushroom sauce. They offered 5 choices for dessert. I had the apple cake, delicious! Everything was superb, local, and served with kindness in a very homey, relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. We also had a half liter of red local wine, very good for the unbeatable price of 6 euros."
