"This is one of my regular stops when I?m in town. I?ve tried a variety of things off the menu from here. The bronx pizza with sausage and red onion is a must try. I usually take it to go and eat on the beach.. The clam chowder is good and the cioppino is the best I?ve ever had. The coconut shrimp are fresh, crispy and perfectly paired with a mango sauce. My all time favorite is the seafood Paella. Service is great too."

"Four of us ladies went out for a birthday celebration for dinner. Service started well but declined after our appetizers. Our meal took 45 min after being told at the 30 min mark it was on the way. Weâre not sure if the kitchen missed our order or the server didnât turn it in as other tables received their meals before us whom arrived AFTER us. Caesar salad was mayo strong no hint of Caesar flavor, Caprese salad was excellent, Clam chowder was tasty but not prepared in a thick chowder style and roasted Brussel Sprouts were good. Entrees of Swordfish (excellent), Seafood Pasta had plenty of fresh clams, shrimp and salmon (good) however the Sand Dabs were bland and a disappointment. The view was fabulous, a window seat on patio but because the service was exceptionally poor and no explanation or apology, I would try a new restaurant next time."

"The Fishwife used to be a premier restaurant. The last two Door Dash orders from here have been subpar. Tonight I ordered Chicken Piccata and clam chowder . The chicken dish arrived cold, lacked in flavor and the chicken was cold and dry. The clam chowder was HORRIBLE, as well. Not only was it cold but, the clams were tough and it was bland in flavor. I remember when their chowder was one of the best on the Monterey Peninsula. I will not need a strike three. This will be the last time I order from The Fishwife!"
