"Let 's be honest, you don 't have to be a Michelin starred chef to cook fish and chips in a chippy. Literally, you had one job. How hard can it be? I 'm no chef but I 'd bet my house that I could do better than this. Here 's a tip from someone who isn 't a cook. . . Make sure the oil is HOT before you put the food in! Because if you don 't, the food will absorb the oil and produce a mushy, oily mess that you 'll end up having to pass off as fish and chips. Are you serious? You 'll end up with a pale and totally inedible pile of rubbish that will not only look awful, it will taste awful. Add to that, that it will give you the trots for the whole of the next day, and you might just consider a different career. Whoever cooked our mess has earned the unenviable title of Worst cook of the Century!"

"Very pleasant staff in the restaurant of the promenade. fish and chips that we had were delicious, well enjoyed, served quickly and with a smile. reception staff very friendly, kovid safe, clean toilet. regarding the situation, very cramped, little space between the vans seemed expensive and in bad condition. not sure I would pay £29k for an old single glazed, not centrally heated van."
