"The island of the middle moon, the volcanic island, the island of the cliffs, the island of the long beaches of black sand, the seabeds of smooth stone, compact, the island of the sunsets, the island of the small villas where to stay, the island of the blue cùpulas, the island of the houses of colors where the white predominates, the island of thira where I look the sea, the island of contrast between the beaches to one arriving at the ferry you can see all those houses hanging from the mountain, while you drink a glass in the sun, it's awesome. the first year we stayed at a lady's house, Greek, Mrs. Tula. This small house, typical, was not bad, was spacious, and very quiet because there is almost nothing ( Perissa beach). if it were too hot. And a big drawback was that there were huge cockroaches. I also had a terrace where always before going up to thira, we had dinner and we had some drinks. there were supermarkets, panaderias and some restaurants of low (high) cut, open ahead and without breaking the harmony of the place. thira surprises you from the first moment, surprises you with its architecture and above all by the views. It has no price (although there they put it...jejejejejejejejejejeje) to drink a drink of a place located on the cliff while the sun falls. walking through those lively streets is very comforting. There's a very lively nightlife, almost all the money people, you see, there's a lot of rich out there. saying it's not as expensive as mykonos, it's also true that they have nothing to do with each other. mykonos is a bit more sophisticated and santorini has an atmosphere more similar to that of here, the coruña, as far as night clubs are concerned. I recommend you go to the koo club, a very cosmopolitan place and where I'm sure you'll laugh. to end the night (the locals close 5 30 h) nothing better than relaxing and chatting lively on the terraces of the cafes that opened. Everything is solved. People are always known, I have comics with Portuguese, German, American, Australian and non-Greek. Greek women are bellisimas. It was time to return, after the night, to the beach of Perissa to rest. for me I have to go directly to the beach, rent the sunbed for the day and snoop around here, begging over there. a while sleeping. and the one of us both try to replenish forces, most of the time in the rest. meltemi. is a beach restaurant, wood. make a good meal and at good price. large Greek salads. very good roll with owner and workers. Nothing masified, a luxury comes. in the most absolute tranquility. along the coast there is this style of locals, open almost everything and everything ahead, I don't know if you understand me. without taking the place. There is a local in perissa, jazz bar, ideal for a beer, with very comfortable armchairs. where if you want sun you have it and if you want shade too.. a quiet place with few people. and a very good deal, as always. very good music, atmosphere, electronics. well, very handsome. There was a night I didn't go up to thaira and I stayed in that place having a drink with a girl I met there. I was totally disconnected from the world looking at that full moon that deserved the water. So you enjoy a lot. anecdote of the many I have: this summer walking through the “road” of the beach, they start screaming. eiiii, eiiii. in this I look back and ask, “I?” says “nai.” (if in Greek). I'm approached and released into a groin like the poor man.
