"Seated next to a cracking fire and a full bookcase at our disposal, on a cold rainy evening in West Virginia, we felt as if we had been transported to an historic Inn of the Civil War era, with a dashing Chef Kev whipping up the most delicious, organic, locally sourced foods. Shrimp and grits? Oh my! Just the right amount of seasoning. Every dish was perfection. We came for a hike. We stayed for the food. We definitely will return every time we are back in the area. Oh no! I just read this little gem has closed. I'm sad for the owners and the guests."

"I went hiking Maryland heights and agreat thirst to quench and a hunger in my belly to fill by the time I reached Private Quinn's Pub! They satisfied both appetites with a Belgian white and a plate loaded nachos! I have also enjoyed wonderful cheeseburgers an awesome Reuben there. I think it's the best place I've eaten in Harper's Ferry or Bolivar! I must add that the waitress did a phenomenal job servicing 2 levels and 3 rooms as she was short handed that day!"
