"Nice eating as usual was very busy and we had not booked but we were found a table then moved to a bigger one than it was available (I think she saw what we ordered and decided we needed a bigger table! the service was good with apologies for the delays because they were busy. poppadome were beautiful and fresh and many dives. in any case worth a visit."

"It was a delivery, we ordered online through village India restaurant, the meal costing more than £30 arrived an hour later, the food was awful, tasting partly of burnt or rancid oil, the pots of sauce I’m guessing were supposed to be mint sauces tasted sour split when poured on rice, the onion bhajis were so over cooked, a complete waste of money, never again!,!,,,,,,"

"With a friend to the Impromptu lunch. the staff was nice and friendly. they have set themselves fast and our commands have taken over. the food was nicely prepared and really came fast. I had the lasagne, chips and salad and it was nice. if they are on the island, we recommend you visit the labworth. her Christmas menu looked very interesting."

"The only decent cafe in this part of town that was open Monday lunchtime! An entire vegan is available in addition to the Polish/English food on the main menu. A lot of standard fare (burgers, sausages etc. are made on the premises. Service was efficient and friendly. Main meals are £7 to £10, teas/coffees £1.60 to £3, smoothies are around £4. A small selection of cakes for £1 to £2. Shame it closes 3pm..."

"Upon arrival we was told we needed to book but they managed to find a small table for two by the window. Once sat we was left by ourselves for 20 mins waiting for our order to be taken. A long stare at the kitchen prompted staff to come over and take our order. Once the food had finally arrived after waiting 40 mins, it wasn’t warm, the plate was hotter than the food. It seemed to be very poncey for what it actually is. Portions was small. Very over priced. Staff was not helpful, didn’t take pride in working for the business"
