"Our first night here our flight was delayed so we had to eat dinner here. I ordered seafood pasta and it wasn't good at all. Seafood was fake crab and one shrimp and some bits that i have no idea what they were. Kids ordered steak but it was chewy and filled full of grizzle. Never ate dinner here again during our stay. We did eat the buffet lunch here 2 times are it was fine. It's not a Royalton so don't expect massive amounts of choices."

"This place is dedicated gluten free and very delicious. large portions and prices for barbadians not for tourist. (they think ba$25 for a very big meal) yes, it is a bit difficult to reach, but worth the all-round. they close at 18:30, but so make sure they are there on time or go to lunch."

In this gastropub, you not only get delicious cuisine from the menu but also a comprehensive and particularly good assortment of good beers and other alcoholic beverages that go well with the food, Also, you shouldn't miss out on the crispy and crunchy pizza, original freshly baked in a wood oven. After the meal (or during it), you have the opportunity to still relax at the bar with a alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.

"We had the absolute best vacation at the Sandals Barbados (2022). I’ll start by saying we did opt for the butler service and I am SO glad that we did. I haven’t stayed at a Sandals without it so I can’t compare but I know other guests complained (for a number of reasons) without the butler service. Resort reasons aside, having the butter service made eating gluten free so easy!! You have the same three butlers all week and they coordinate every meal, they brought breakfast to our room, brought lunch to our beach chairs and walked us to dinner to personally talk to the kitchen ensuring no cross contact with gluten. If room service was ordered, they made sure our room was flagged as gluten free. It's hard to choose a favorite restaurant because we loved dining at all of them! Chi (asian fusion) was absolutely incredible (the chef came out to tell me he’d use separate pans for anything I ordered, we enjoyed the food at the Greenhouse, it was amazing to get fresh juice/smoothies at Heart and Sol honestly, every restaurant we dined at was incredible and with so many options. Our butler spoke with the kitchen at every meal and made ordering seamless (many times gf bread was ready for our table before I arrived) and there was always a gf dessert option. I think our trip was much smoother with the butler service BUT the resort handled gluten free so well that I’m positive you would have a good trip without it!! Tips for Gluten Free travelers The donut shop has two selections of gluten free items separate from the other donuts but they'll also make you a selection of the regular donuts (you just have to request to pre order for the next day) this is an absolute must if you are gluten free because they are sooooo good! The cafe has gluten free muffins in the back if you ask for them You will want to be clear about cross contact when it comes to fried foods (ask for hash browns/fries to be cooked separately or avoid fried foods) There is a gluten free pizza at the pizzeria they did take all of the precautions to make sure it's safe Every time we dined (without the butler) or ordered room service, the staff started with 'any allergies' and so you'll have the chance to let them know right away that you need your items gluten free. The menus aren't well labelled for gluten free but I think that's because almost anything on the menu can have a gluten free option, you just have to ask"

"We arrived and were seated promptly. Well...we weren 't actually seated, it was more like a You 're here for lunch? Great! Have a seat. Waiter/Host comes over, never introduces himself or welcomes us to the restaurant but proceeds to taking a drink order. I ask kindly for a cocktail list, there are none. Okay, I 'd like to order two Virgin coladas, one for me and one for my date. He takes the order and proceeds to the bar. Two minutes later he comes back and goes Ladies...I forgot to tell you, no pineapple came in today . What other drink might you like to have? At this point, I 'm already annoyed and order a strawberry daiquri for myself and my date orders a lime squash. This daquiri costs me $16! and came separated...I kid you not. I 'll add a picture for whoever 's reading this. Let 's move onto the Menu. You CANNOT order a side unless you purchase a main. Also, it 's not vegetarian friendly at all, except for a veg pizza and two salads. We ended up ordering a veg pizza and a chicken breast sandwich. We ordered at 2:23 and got our food 30 mins later. This is pretty good considering that 's the time it takes to prepare a pizza. The pizza was pretty good. The sandwich? I had to remove, on two occasions, two pieces of uncooked chicken from my mouth. I became upset and stopped eating. All in all, the presentation of the food was good. Meanwhile...not once does the waiter/ hostess return to the table. I really thought that this restaurant would be different considering it 's location. However, I was quite shocked at our experience. Oops I forgot: While we 're waiting on our food, another employee arrives for work. She rests her bag on one of the restaurant tables, takes out a comb and commences to comb through her hair. I have no words for this. Disclaimer: I 'm not usually a picky person and this is my first review ever. Blue Bench Bar and Restaurant was a disappointment. I would not encourage anyone to visit."

"The bowl was delicious and the woman worked was really nice and happy to put additional toppings on me (for no extra cost I didn't expect it was quite long waiting when it was just her in the van, but she was really communicatiw about what she did and who would be next etc. what was great, and the end result was definitely worth it"
