"My friends and I wanted a caffe to breakfast after I had driven last week wishart parkrun, but did not want to go the big shopping center close by. there are not many street cafés in this opposite, so we decided for this and a booking as...soon as we did after the run. the service was fabulous, portions generous and cheap. and also good coffee. they had croissants on the counter, so my other half and I shared one as tasty. they were delivered by a French bakery of very good call in brisbane, but unfortunately the personal she has in a microwave that she should never do to a croissant as it makes her hard and gum-like. if they had asked us if we had reheated them, it would have been better, but they did not, and it never happened to me that they would reheat them. so if the croissants had not been heated again, it would have been perfect. (from someone who lived in France)"

"I have to say I am a massive coffee lover and sometimes when I got to Starbucks it can be a hit and miss (especially the stores in America). The Starbucks in Garden City do a nice coffee, I'm alway a standard double shot cappuccino fan though, nothing too fancy. There's always a lot of snacks to choose from the cafe and it decor is quite pretty and modern."

Special shout out to all the staff, they’re so attentive and they’re constantly busy and working. "Heard this place does crepe cake so went to try it out. Unfortunately they only had one flavor available, the strawberry one and I was hoping to try taro or green tea but the strawberry was still good: light and creamy. For my personal taste it wasn't quite sweet enough but others may find it good. Also had a matcha Latte. My friend had the matcha roll cake and it was so cute with a heart in the middle!<br/ <br/ Hopefully next time they'll have now crepe cake flavors available. <br/ <br/ Really friendly staff : high chairs provided"

"I always drive past this Mc Donald or visit the other eateries located around it but never think about to go in for some food. Grabbed the chance of this public holiday with government restriction, I went there to have my brekkie take away this morning. Did not like to use the drive in facility but went in straight to the Mc Cafe and placed order. <br/>When I approached to the counter, the pineapple and coconut bread sitting in the display cabinet tempted me to give it a go. After I have ordered behind a clear Perspex sheet, then I waited at the corner to make sure the social distance with the other customers. It did not take a long time to have the order ready. When I opened the paper bag, the coconut fragrance immediately attacked my olfactory sense. The bread was perfectly toasted and it tasted well. If the flat white can be hotter and stronger. A full mark May be achieved."

"TL;DR: It keeps on being a phrase that is used, but some of the best finds are where you don't expect them. Okey Dokey is another such case. Much of this comes down to the attention to detail in design and aesthetics. The quality of the food doesn't hurt either. <br/ <br/ Upon a previous visit to the Technology Park in Eight Mile Plains, my housemate and I were looking around to see what other options for eats there were. While there are not a lot of options just yet, it doesn't mean that they are bereft of somewhere to get something to eat. Nevertheless, with a little gander into it during the first visit, my housemate knew that this would be next week's target. It proved to be the better one as well, and overall solid and realised product. <br/ <br/ It was by having a look into the place that gave the first impression, and one that concluded Okey Dokey was a friendly and inviting locale. There is the Japanese style of decor, in which they go somewhat minimalistic but ensure they put touch or two to give the cafe a sense of character. This sort of addition is always welcome since otherwise, things can become sterile. <br/ <br/ The vibe takes a bit of a change depending on which side of the cafe you choose to eat. Where the two of us sat got a better view. Around the place is a few different plant decorations, the sort of small touch that adds a lot. Everything here is open plan, giving a fresher, airier aesthetic, and the wall hangings add to it as well. Seating is eclectic, and always comfortable sometimes even colourful. Whoever designed this place, I commend thee. <br/ <br/ Without any doubt, the golden star will belong to their inclusion of a boardroom that can be booked out for meetings. You don't have to have been involved in one to know the coffee shop is the perfect location to have a business meeting, but the noise and the lack of privacy. That is a genius maneuver, and they go a step beyond with including in house catering for the attendees. <br/ <br/ The customer service is fine. There is not anything that can be improved with it per se, it is more the situation where they streamline it into a standard operation. You walk up to the counter to place your order, followed up by paying, and then whence you have yourself a seat they come and find you once the order is complete. This is in the early stages, so there is a chance for them to harvest it further. <br/ <br/ A few things could get tweaked, which are easily mitigated. Having more hands on deck would make operations more efficient; things come out one by one as opposed to all at once. That is perhaps the only proper gripe. If I can remember correctly, waters are fetched, and they ask how your meal is. Those aspects to me, at least matter so much. <br/ <br/ Their offerings for food trend around the usual suspects, and give out a mere handful whether you're at breakfast, lunch or dinner. On top of that, there is guaranteed to be a house special for something a little bit different. The hidden benefit from this is that the cooks can focus on making sure each one is high quality, and tasty. <br/ <br/ Breakfast is the least flashy of the courses, opting for wholesomeness and essentially what most of us would want when sitting down for the day's first meal. Eggs are the name of the game, whether as an omelette or coupled with something else. <br/ <br/ Lunchtime, and it is no nonsense. I liken it to an old style Greek takeaway, and they have adapted some of the fellow Italians' cooking in conjunction. In other words, you have yourself some burgers and gyros, plus a couple of pasta bowls. <br/ <br/ Dinner is a bit more special. A couple of the prior options are on the menu, but what really showcases the cooking is the meat based meals. Each one is a fully realised concoction with its own set of vegetables, sauce, and carbohydrate base. These can be complemented with several sides as can either breakfast or lunch. <br/ <br/ Keep in mind, that description was for the time of writing, and the choices are bound to change. <br/ <br/ At any moment during the business hours, the dessert cabinet is full of all kinds of goodies. These treats aren't merely sourced from elsewhere, but done by their own pasty chefs in house. What they got will vary from day to day, and these morsels will surely go well with either their tea or coffee. <br/ <br/ Drinks start to get a little more exciting and delve into the eclectic territory. You can definitely count on getting either tea or coffee, those choices are not going anywhere any time soon. Also available are juices, milkshakes, the colder coffee options, and even bubble tea. <br/ <br/ The breakfast this time was a usual combination of an eggs Benedict variation, alongside coffee as the drink. At least one of those will be guaranteed as an inclusion. This variation of the Benedict breakfast was in the bread used, where they had a bagel as the base. I chose smoked salmon as the main topping, and the rest of the items were as usual poached eggs (requested with a soft yolk as per normal), spinach, and hollandaise sauce. <br/ <br/ Starting though with the vital component the coffee it was the usual fare this time around for me. That was none other than a doppio. I can't precisely remember what beans they use in their coffee maybe it is their own home blend but it is a good one. Not exactly great, but good enough to have with breakfast. It may have a bit bitter for my tastes, but outside of that factor, I can't fault the texture or how it was extracted. <br/ <br/ The meal though was pretty good overall. Using a bagel is an interesting twist on the meal, and if done right could resemble a deconstructed version of the famous New York bagel. Kudos goes to the cooks, with the amount of smoked salmon used. Any place could easily have skimped on the fish, but right here the whole meal was almost covered with a couple of big slices. The eggs were their usual plump selves, and upon getting pricked, produce that sauce that melds well into the bread. With the spinach, you need that bit of freshness to offset the sheer richness of the hollandaise sauce, and when combined you know full well why this is a tried and true combination. <br/ <br/ As of recently, my housemate has been drawn to getting burgers out during breakfast. This instant was one of those times; where the folks running the place were kind enough to let him an order of the usual menu. It was the general beef burger complete with cheese, caramelised onion, lettuce, and beetroot along with some sauce. I didn't get to try a bit of the actual burger but managed to snag a few of the fries. <br/ <br/ Upon any doubt with the cooks' cooking, a maxim to dissolve any doubts is by trying their fries. Any cook or any chef who is worth their salt will know how to cook some fantastic French fries, and that was the case right here. They were hot and fresh, right from the fryer. As a result, these guys were crispy, and the cooks were even considerate by tossing them extensively through a tasty seasoning. The only issue the portion was too small! You know you have done a home run when that is the case. <br/ <br/ Okey Dokey has something about it that could really transform it into something else. It has a relaxing atmosphere that is helped by little touches to the design, along with going the extra mile with facilities. The food and drink options are half the usual fare, half some curveballs which makes it a little more exciting. <br/ <br/ I can envision it from the perspective of someone working there, wanting to catch an in between break hour. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and the atmosphere is a breath of fresh air to that familiar working environment at the desk. It will serve the cafe very well, and hopefully, the good word is catching on."
