"My brother and I both have celiac disease. The menu does not give gluten-free items, but the waiting staff here was incredibly knowledgeable what food contains gluten and problems of cross-contamination. We tested both ducks we ordered (pork belly and quash risotto with chicken) and both came back without gluten. Instead of the bread, we brought fresh corstortillas. It was all in all in excellent culinary experience."

"Eat here!! I had been craving some flavourful, spicy food and the shrimp and seafood rice was perfect for this. Coffee, service, food and the little souvenir shop were all amazing. Came on our last day and wish we had found them sooner!"

"We stayed here at Los Lagos for three nights. Everyone was very accommodating, understanding and helpful. They don’t have a lot of breakfast options, but will make eggs and GF pancakes. Lots of options for fruit as well. Dinner had okay offerings, lots of chicken, rice and seafood. We felt safe eating here and didn’t have issues at all during our stay. The swim-up bar serves GF meals as well, but they cook them in the main restaurant kitchen so it takes a little on her to get."

"TERRIBLE experience. Went there for a day pass and tried to get something to eat for dinner. Was told straight out by the manager that they could not accommodate me. I asked to speak with a chef to see if they could prepare even something just like grilled chicken and salad, but he blew off my request. We chose to leave and let him know (politely) and his response was “Perfect”....leaving my friend and I to need to go search for a food in our wet swimwear just before the Costa Rica COVID curfew. If you want to check out the hot springs, be prepared to not be able to eat here."
