"We made a big mistake eating here on Saturday evening - it was quite busy so thought it would be OK . We went for the 17.50 euro menu of two courses. My starter I could only describe as awful watery tasteless soup with 3 scallops, my husbands was a little better he had lots of scallops with his salad and it did look good – wished I’d gone for that instead. Main course I had fish but it was very bland tasteless again, I would have liked to add salt & pepper but there didn’t seem to be any on any table. My husband went for the steak with pepper sauce, wasn’t asked how he would like it cooked, it came almost raw and being like that he expected it to be tender it wasn’t – very tough and the blood turned the pepper sauce red! We didn’t hang around for dessert or coffee – it was a very bad experience. No English spoken here."

"I've eaten here this afternoon, on a day trip from toulouse. both the customer service and the Jambon-Beurre sandwich were stellar. I even returned there for a pâtisserie after I walk to the top of the village and back! highly recommended."

"Staying in a quiet village in the area, we were trying to find our ideal local restaurant. A quick look on Trip Advisor and found La Magnanerie. We were not disappointed. Set in rolling countryside with a view over Cordes, which at night was quite spectacular.The menu offered sufficient choice and all courses were beautifully presented, If not a little different to what we expected but tasted wonderful. The waiter, who was working alone was happy to advise,efficient and friendly.This is not a cheap option but not expensive either and well worth a visit."

"The restaurant’s location complements perfectly the quality of the food: It is excellent and beautifully presented. The fresh produces and wine are from the area. Thumbs up to the young chef with innovative dishes and his specialty “ l’emulsion” which is just delicious . The team is helpful, welcoming and evrything runs smoothly. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back in a heart beat !!"

"We went back by assart in the restaurant we found a beautiful room and an excellent welcome by two young women very smiling, we took grilled food cooked at the fire to walk was a feast a meat of very good quality fresh produce was excellent. I strongly recommend it very thank you very much!!!"
