"Bar staff was awesome , Karaoke host if you can sing turns your Mike down , yells at you if you try to hear your voice , I have been a Karaoke host for 10 years and he definitely felt threatened. Told me I was going to blow out his tweeter , meanwhile a guy was swinging the microphone by the cord and the Mic came lose hitting the ground , he said well not sure how he ejected the mic but my mic will survive give him a hand folks ?.. I was truly frustrated at this ?."

"My wife and I had decided to meet for dinner but wanted to eat somewhere on her way home from Galveston. I searched Surfside and found Captain's Table. I always read reviews and decided to try it.We were greated by Kristy who took great care of us. She hurried with our drinks and then gave us time to figure out what we wanted. We ordered, talked about our day and just enjoyed each other's company. Our food arrived in a timely manner and we enjoyed our hot meals. Kristy was very attentive and never needed a clue for our needs. We decided that we will include Captain's Table as one of our date night outings moving forward."

"Great casual place on the beach. I took my children here for diner/dive because we were covered with sand, no matter how hard we tried not to be. the service was excellent, and the food was fresh and plentiful. we ordered two seafood plates that were a filled crab that was very good, fried fish, fried garnel and hush weep. it was all fresh and hot and seemed to be homemade despite the negative reviews I have seen here. my son had the garnelencocktail as escape, and it was generous. the prices were very reasonable, especially in comparison with other similar means of life that we had bought near."
