"As a local, I 'm fond of this place. It has a family-owned vibe. That being said, it 's worth mentioning that family-owned usually means the equipment isn 't great, but that 's not the case. They keep the felt fairly fresh, more so than you would expect. The sticks are above average as well. The place is pretty old and it shows here and there. They 've been kicking it since '69 or '70, so a lot of history. Parking is never a problem, especially after dark. Above all, I find this to be a safe place. I 've spent a lot of time there and never heard or saw any loud arguments, much less fights. These days, that 's worth mentioning."
