"We came after 1 hour very busy outside, so we did not sit inside a problem as we love the managerin and her personal. again eating was great. my man loves a good steak as I don't eat red meat. he said it was perfect as usual I had a pizza that was great. we enjoy the borsalino. the personal works very well. the cream brulee is my favorite dessert."

"This is a good place to go for a long lunch or dinner, particularly if staying at the Mercure, which is just up the hill. A real fire helps the restaurant feel cosy and informal, and the staff are friendly. The food comes in good...portions, and the 10 hour beef is absolutely delicious. Meals are beautifully presented. We had fish pate which was divine, and a sort of superior shepherds pie with shredded beef and a potato topping. The rillets of fish were a tiny bit strange as they were very cold, but the food is generally really tasty. Desserts were huge pieces of chocolate cake with creme anglais or tarte tartine both very nice."
