"Aussies there is a big thumb up!. I went to Mamas on a holiday to Maui, Australia. We stumbled on this jewel when we took the wrong bus out of town and landed in a small mall. The bus driver recommended it and said everyone he knows about it. The food was divine! I had never tasted Bbq sauce baked beans and boy I miss it! The ladies on the counter were very helpful and led us lost outsies through the menu. This place is perfect when you are sick to pay ridiculous prices for low quality hotel food along the Maui trip. I know where to go when I come back next!"

"My husband and I are both vegan, but his whole family (parents, older brother and wife, younger brother are not. You can therefore imagine how difficult it was to find restaurants that make the whole family happy. Luckily, Roy was not one of the divisive restaurants. Everyone enjoyed our time at Roy’s. My husband and I enjoyed amazing cocktails, an appetizer, unique entrees that even impressed the omnivores, good wine, delicious dessert and a fascinating Japanese Shochu. The restaurant has a dedicated vegetarian menu (for this if you arrive! which can be modified all vegan-friendly. There were three appetizers, three entrees and a dessert to choose from (although this change was seasonal . The waiter was informed about the nutritional requirements and made the necessary switches easy. Everyone went happy and full of dinner."
