Er zaubert auf Holzbrettchen feine Kleinigkeiten, bietet ein Repertoire von unterschiedlichsten Frühstücksvarianten (auch ganztägig) über geniale Torten zu Suppen, Salaten und Pastagerichten. Hier findet jeder etwas, auch an Glutenunverträglichkeit denkt er und hat tolle Alternativen.Das Essen ist allererste Sahne was Qualität und Frische angeht. Hier ist es wirklich handmade.Es gibt noch Filterkaffee wie in der guten alten Zeit, wenn man möchte.... der Latte gehört natürlich ebenso zu seinem Repertoire. Eine Besonderheit sind die immer wiederkehrenden Musikevents zur Frühstückszeit oder in den Abendstunden (Termine hierzu sind im Internet /Facebook hinterlegt). Hier haben Musiker die Möglichkeit ihr Talent unter Beweis zu stellen, was oftmals in ausgelassener Stimnung endet.Da es sehr klein ist, kommt man mit den anderen Gästen locker ins Gespräch und es herrscht eine schon fast familiäre Stimmung.Andreas kümmert sich toll um seine Gäste. "Das Gasthaus Diers befindet sich direkt in der Mitte der Stadt Werl: am Marktplatz, nur wenige Schritte von der bedeutenden Wallfahrts-Basilika entfernt. Insofern sehr günstig für alle, die als Pilger oder zum Einkaufen in die Stadt gekommen sind und dann keine weiten Wege mehr auf sich nehmen möchten. Schräg gegenüber befindet sich ein Bronze-Denkmal, das die Pilgerfahrt zu ULF von Werl darstellt. Im Restaurant stehen die größere Wirtsstube und ein extra Speiseaal zur Verfügung. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas an: Westfälische und Internationale Küche, mit oder ohne Fleisch - dazu die passenden Getränke. Die Portionen waren nicht allzu groß - so blieb noch Appetit für die spätere Kaffee-Tafel, die wir dann allerdings im Cafe am Rathaus eingenommen haben. Die Bedienung war freundlich, die Speisen sehr lecker."
