"For people who are not spoiled this is a very good restaurant. The portions are big. We are a little spoiled. We ate good but recommend the chef to:use softer bread than rye with the game hams and serve some butter with it;check the filetted zander fish on bones before cooking it;use less salt in the delicious fatted spaghetti with the zander;use real fresh cream in stead of a spraying can (in the Ruesselsheimer Coffee the cream could be more solid.We had a good meal, good service and got a grappa because of the bones in the fish, too hard crust of the bread.The desert was so good that even my husband ate it. That means: not too much sugar and no surrogates in sweetness.Still we can recommend this eatery. We enjoyed it."

"Come for the food, stay for the view... with an amazing view of Gelnhausen from the terrace you might be lucky enough to see a glider or two.The food is authentic Italian with a few German items as well. Well priced with big portions, you wont be disappointed.Good selection of beers and even a few odd mixes such as Banana beer :-)"

"Very bad. The story is longer. TLTR: Not child-friendly, no customer orientation, incorrect billing. Full story: We go to family once a year. We were in September for “before the food”. The food was great, we were with 3 children and there was a lot for them too. We booked for Christmas and asked for the map. Comment: Yes, reduced, but for everyone. For Christmas we arrived there, with 5 children and various adults. First Aha Moment: The door to the hall was opened, and one sat with the table half in the gym. The children enjoyed it, they had room. But the mood was solala. Then the card: with a rich name, a noodle dish for almost 17€, the rest went from 22€ and the rule was around 30€. Nix for children. The demand for what for children was answered only after the 2nd time with question in the kitchen with pommes or noodles Bolognese. After some of the adults were unable to get friends with the map and also ordered noodles of Bolognese, it was denied because you would not be a "baby" and that is only for the Babes (by the way, the children were between 3 and 11). The question of small changes to the shell was rejected: Rumpsteak without mushrooms, only herbal butter does not go! It was a hammer. No vegetarian dish on the map, no small changes of dishes, and that with quite complicated compilations where you can not be all. It was asked to have an aperitif. My mother-in-law followed what nobody had right. Ruckzuck had all, including the children, a champagne glass with a kind of Grenadin juice(?) Not touched the children, but found himself on the bill with about 5€ per glass. My baby stone butter was very good. However, with just over 30 euros ambitious. In the end there was no voice before and back. Too expensive noodles, too much water bottles that we had shared from the family, each bill was wrong. That's a shame. But I can't do that better."

"We've been here for the first time, the last time. pizzen were cold and partly burned, pommes were still half raw and at pizza bruschetta the half missed. very disappointing and absolutely unexpected. the delivery time was the only good one."
