"I went there today to eat and the food was great! Service was good and the waitress was friendly and friendly she seems very hard to work they still see in high school, but we? very hard work while it was very busy. @kevin and karen I would not say service was bad it was just that the place is great and happened to be very busy. everyone makes mistakes and forgets things when they have a lot on their mind, I think u should learn to be more thoughtful next time, and to the young waitress that you have done well!"

"I've always had great food and service here. I try to stop here on my way to State College when I can since it's kind of on the way. I've had a variety of meals here and they always been very tasty. The store in the back has all sorts of interesting items too. Parking may be a little dodgy if it's full. Definitely give this great spot a try."

"I was in a quarter of what I should order for lunch and decided to try something from this place. We were in Ireland last year and I felt nostalgic. While no Sheppard cake was today, I chose a meat cake and a potato and cheese cake. WELL. Let me tell you! It was heavenly! My favourite had to be the pasty, but both were delicious and the crust is raised! I will be back and have already begun to plan who will share a full afternoon tea! "Never been disappointed when you eat here. The menu ingredients are produced locally. This night we had pan meerrot chicken with creamy, cheesy polenta and Brussel sprouts (so yum! And my husband had BBQ braided short ribs that were tendered by bone and sooo and the BBQ sauce was very delicious. As mentioned, we have never been disappointed with a meal here. Their brews are also very good. A taste for every palate. I recommend the flight if you're not sure what you want. The service was also super friendly and our waitress was vey friendly, helpful and approached our table exactly the right amount."
