"General Today we have taken a trip to the Steinhuder Meer. The good weather after the rain of the last few days invaded us. Service We were looking for a place from the sun terrace, just before the start of the kitchen time at 17.30. The service welcomed us friendly and picked up the beverage orders and served them quickly. The Frankenwein (a syvaner from Juliusspital) wounded us very well. The service asked several times if everything is okay and there are still further order requests. Used dishes were immediately cleared. Food The menu and drinks offer a suitable dish/drink for each guest. The focus is on fish dishes. We chose a wedding soup, roasted redfish fillet in butter, napped with mustard sauce and parsley potatoes as well as fried mustard fillets with homemade warm bacon potato salad. The wedding soup was homemade and tastefully fine. The Maggi season has disturbed me. The main dishes tasted good, looked good visually and the processed fish was fresh and well prepared. The quality of parsley potatoes was very good and the potatoes were more than just a saturation supplement. The homemade bacon potato salad was also very successful and tasted mild and not as sour as buckets. Ambiente The historic building and the view from the outside into the restaurant invite the guest and make curious. Due to the good weather we chose the sun terrace overlooking the Steinhuder Meer.The outdoor area makes a well-kept impression, The guest sits in the green under umbrella. The restaurant is decorated in the interior in nostalgic style. The ambience fits very well with the historic building. The cover of the tables with white table runners bze. Tablecloths, white fabric napkins with napkin rings, makes really what and looks very noble. Cleanliness The cleanliness in the indoor and outdoor areas was as clear as we can see. The toilets were also clean, but came in the years and simply equipped. They do not conform to the standard of the übruigen Gastronomy"
