"Although the atmosphere is good, we have had some bad experiences from here, where the food has been less than adequate. Generally the food is okay, but I think my low rating deserves an explanation...One time, on receiving our take-away order, we realized we had forgotten prawn crackers, and decided to go back for some. When we entered, the expression we were greeted with by the lady at the counter was almost hostile/ defensive, until we explained that we'd just forgotten something in our order.After getting home to enjoy our meal however, we understood why she'd reacted as she did. The food, although edible, wasn't of the quality we'd expected for the price we paid. In particular, it was obvious that it wasn't freshly cooked, and tasted as if it had been cooked the night before.Considering the price, and drastically lower quality from a few weeks before (when we had eaten from there when the take-way first opened), this wasn't acceptable.For a while we stopped buying from here, but we did go back more recently to find exactly the same problem poor food quality.I wouldn't recommend this take-away, unless you wish to eat in the restaurant itself, as from experience, I suspect they take more care cooking meals for customers wishing to dine there."
