"This cafe with outdoor seating seemed like the perfect place for lunch. The menu was posted outside the cafe and offered several choices options. We sat at a table and waited for at least 10 minutes before someone came to the table to talk to us. They had a pizza/salad with a drink option on the chalkboard. We were informed that they no longer had pizza (usually someone erases items no longer available). We each ordered a salad. In the meantime, another party arrived . The server took their order almost immediately, which they received before our order arrived. They also were served pizza. We don't expect food to arrive in minutes, but waited 45 minutes for our salads to arrive.The server informed us that they had a large party indoors that was taking extra time. The salads were simple salads with some vinaigrette and walnuts, but no tomatoes, carrots or other vegetables that were typically included in salads that we had in France. The food was fine, but the whole experience was atypical for our trip in the region. Maybe they need additional wait staff or kitchen staff during the busy tourist season. They also need to update their menus."
