"The restaurant De l'Ours gets a Bib Gourmand from Michelin and we dined there is mid May 2013. The dining room is pleasant, the services was good and the food very good fresh, seasonal produce nicely prepared and fairly reasonable in price (this is Switzerland)....Good wine list."

"Great cooking, great flavours, great value - and huge portions! We started with a girolles mushroom risotto and a warm goats cheese salad - which we planned on sharing. Our waitress suggested we had 1/2 size portions, which I reluctantly concurred with; but needn't have worried, as the portions that arrived were both delicious and generous (the risotto the more interesting and tasty of the two, and very strongly recommended). To follow, we had the fillet of Sandra (a meaty white fish) from the lake, and Wiener Schnitzl - both delicious and far larger portions than either of us could finish....and neither of us are noted for our small appetites! With a glass of wine and coffees, the total came to CHF160 for two; excellent value."

"This is a nice restaurant located right along the eastern shore of the lake, with lovely views of the lake and mountains. The atmosphere is relaxed and it’s suitable for children. There are plenty of public (for a fee) parking spaces nearby. The prices are in the middle-high range. The restaurant evidently fills up quickly in high season so consider reserving a table, especially if you want to sit outside. There is a good selection of dishes to suit all kinds of tastes. I had the traditional Flammekuchen and it was crispy and overall quite delicious. Our waiter A. however was less than warm or personable, and for that reason I deducted a star from this rating"
