"My wife and I ordered fish and chips as well as a combo 9, which was chips, 2 pieces huh and 4 hot wings. the portions are massive, which is unusual with such a low price! the fish was at least one foot long! chips should die! one of the best chippy meals I had."

"Our breakfasts took 40 minutes to arrive. When I asked if we could have a fresh pot of tea because it had gone cold, the manager said the lead time for breakfast was 25 minutes and that they were freshly cooked. I pointed out we had been waiting more than 40 minutes, and had we been told it was going to take that long, we would have asked for the tea to come with the meal. The elements of the meal were clearly not freshly cooked. The fried egg was hard, the baked beans were over cooked and dried up, the hash browns were hard and dry. The large breakfast should have come with 2 rounds of toast but we only got one slice cut in half and finally the bacon was bitty and very thin. The manageress’ attitude was offhand at best, and she practically threw the tea at us when she brought it over leaving us with four tea pots on a small table intended for two people."
